The CCBI has established a Public Relations Office in Delhi to assist our Dioceses and Religious Congregations that may need liaising with various departments of the Central Government. The PR Office operates be under the direction and guidance of Most Rev. Anil Couto, Secretary General and Rev. Dr. Stephen Alathara, Deputy Secretary General.

Historical Introduction
The CCBI Office Bearers meetings held on 23 September, 2018 at the CCBI Centre, Bangalore and on 13 February, 2020, St. John’s Bangalore discussed the possibility of establishing a PR office in Delhi because of escalating some problems in the Latin Church in India, which needs support from various central government departments in Delhi. Rev. Dr. Stephen Alathara, the Deputy Secretary General proposed to open PR Office in New Delhi. Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrao, the President of the CCBI, Most Rev. George Antonysamy, the Vice President and Most Rev. Anil Joseph Couto, the Secretary General agreed to the proposal.
The Office Bearers meeting held on 6 March, 2021 took the decision to establish the CCBI PR Office at Delhi and it was rectified in the 86 Executive Committee meeting held on 14 and 15 May 2021. In the 87 Executive Committee of the CCBI held on 20 and 21 the Secretary General presented the day to day operational details of the PR Office.
The CCBI PR Office in New Delhi was blessed and inaugurated on Wednesday 1 September 2021 at the CCBI Secretariat Building, Bhai Vir Singh Marg, New Delhi by His Grace Most Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi and the Secretary General of the CCBI. Rev. Dr. Stephen Alathara, Deputy Secretary General of the CCBI, Fr. Adv. Joseph Elamthuruthy and Mr. Shashidharan were present for the blessing and inauguration of the PR Office.
