Benaulim, Goa, December 9, 2024, Benaulim (CCBI): The CCBI organized the fifth batch of the financial management training programme for diocesan administrators from January 9–13, 2024, at Shanti Sadan, CCBI Secretariat Extension, Benaulim, Goa.
The course was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Lucio Dias, Episcopal Vicar, with the Holy Eucharist, who encouraged the participants to be responsible in financial matters.
The participants had the privilege of being addressed by several distinguished individuals, including Fr. Duming Gonsalves, the Administrator of Shanti Sadan; Rev. Dr. Alexio Menezes; Mr. Sunil Gonsalves, C.A.; Mr. Gaver S. Lobo, C.A.; and Carl de Sa, Financial Planner.
The CCBI organizes training for diocesan financial administrators to help them expand their knowledge of financial matters and stay updated on the latest laws and regulations related to financial management in India. The fifth batch of this intensive training took place from January 9–13, 2024, with 19 diocesan financial administrators in attendance from 14 dioceses.
In addition to the training, the participants also had the opportunity to make a pilgrimage to various historical and religious sites, including Sé Cathedral, Old Goa, Church of the Cross of Miracles, Old Goa, St. Joseph Vaz Centre, Old Goa, Tomb of Agnel, Pilar, St. Joseph Vaz Church, Sancoale, and St. John Baptist Church, Benaulim.
