New Diocese Parassala Erected for Syro Malankara Catholics
Bangalore 5 August 2017 (CCBI): Syro Malankara Catholic Church erected new diocese Parassala in Kerala for its faithful and appointed His Excellency Most Reverend Thomas Mar Eusebios Naickamparambil as its first bishop. Bishop Thomas Mar Eusebios was the Bishop of the Eparchy of Saint Mary Queen of Peace in the United States and Canada. This was made public on Saturday 5th August 2017 at 3.30pm.

Syro Malankara Catholic Church Elected of Reverend Father George Kalayil as Bishop of the Eparchy of Puthur, Karnataka and Reverend Father John Kuchuthundil as Curia Bishop and Apostolic Visitator to Europe and Oceania, to whom has been assigned the Titular See of Tuburbo Maggiore.
